Label love: Second female

The new summer collection of Danish brand by Second Female has my name written all over it. Clean lines, a bohemian touch and beautiful fabrics. Bought my first piece of the collection today, baggy beige pants in an incredible soft cotton. Next on the list: the jumpsuit, white lace top, black harem pants and some of their exotic jewels.

Erik & Emilia

In search of cool new sunglasses, I found Swedish brand Erik & Emilia. The two designers name their glasses after Swedish cities, the sunglasses get the name of beaches and  summer resorts. Not only are names such as Bettnes, Tofta and Falsterbo pretty cool, the designs are too. Stylish frames with a retro vibe that fit different face shapes. Erik & Emilia want spectacles to be an everyday accessory and I for one wouldn't mind trading in my lenses for their funky frames.

First days of sun here in Belgium and God it feels good... I want to go shopping for bright summer clothes and pack away my winter woolies. On the wishlist: new retro shades, a pink skirt, sandals, flared jeans and a flower dress.

The Breakfast Club

Stumbled upon a nice blog the other day: Simply Breakfast. I love to take time in the morning to sit down and have a good breakfast. Photographer Jennifer Causey shares the same habit. She takes a picture of what she eats every morning. Gave me a lot of ideas for the following weeks... blueberry pancakes anyone?

Fall fashion

Strange to be longing for fall/winter collections, when all I really want is some sunshine. But some of the clothes that were just shown in London, New York, Paris and Milan are just so beautiful. Time to make a wish list...

Time for some eye-candy on the blog. After all the pictures of fashionable it-girls, it's showtime for the cool dudes.

The Stones

A colleague told me about the English jewelry designer Kathryn Blackmore. When I visited her online shop, I fell in love with the necklaces and bracelets. And off course, Mr Visa urged me to place an order. My new necklace with a magnesite stone arrived by mail yesterday gift wrapped in a cute brown box. A beautiful piece of stone dangling on a silver chain. In her new collection Kathryn uses pieces of marble stone in soft pink colours. I think I need a new bracelet...

Style crush: Elisa Nalin

We share a name and the same pixie haircut, but that's about it. Stylist Elisa Nalin dresses in bold colours, has a thing for head scarves and has written STYLE all over her. She was born in Verona, moved to Milan to work in fashion and now lives in Paris and works as a stylist and fashion editor for Crash magazine. A résumé to be jealous off... Check out the pictures The Selby made of her place: hereI've been thinking about dying my hair platinum blonde just like hers. What do you think?

A little hamster

Found another cute jewelry brand the other day. Lenneke, a girl from The Netherlands, makes delicate, romantic necklaces and sells them in her online shop. She also has this cute tassel bracelets in all colours of the rainbow. I've immediately ordered myself a strawberry red one. Perfect for summer.
