On Friday I got the keys to my new appartment and now I'm in full DIY-mode. Busting out walls, changing the kitchen, breaking up the floors. Instead of checking out the new fall/winter-collections, I'm searching out the perfect paint colour, wallpaper and kitchen cabinets. Still have a lot of work the next couple of weeks, so the blog will come second place for a while. I'm planning something nice for the one-year-anniversary though. Keep posted!

Comfort zone

Some days I just want to wear something comfortable for a long day in the office. Especially when I don't have any meetings and the sky is full with gray rain clouds. A sweater dress is my stand-by solution, combined with a nice scarf, big handbag and All Stars.

Loved this Vogue Russia photoshoot. The colours, the textures and the quirkiness. A chic and funky tomboy with beautiful long hair. Think I'm going to let mine grow again...

On my fall-fashion-wishlist: GREEN! I would love to own a handbag in dark racing green, a top in emerald green or a dress in minty green. Already spotted some nice green items in the new Zara collection, saw a beautiful pair of pants chez Vanessa Bruno and have my eye on a cardigan from Dagmar.

Career mum

I saved up some magazines to read on holiday. Among them was the August issue of American Vogue with a fashion spread featuring Sarah Jessica Parker as a working mum. Too bad real life doesn't look like this...

I was hoping to return to a sunny Belgium after my holiday, but hélas... My sunkissed legs and arms are covered in pants and sweaters, I'm even wearing a scarf at the moment! So I'm looking forward to the fall collections and started making my wishlist. Royal blue, greys and a splash of orange are the colours of my favourite items. This weekend I'm going shopping, no better way to beat the rainy-weather-blues.

Catching up

Just got back from a week in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Our holiday home in Panzano, a cute town in Tuscany, was too good to be true. Views of the hills while lounging by the pool, a beautiful country kitchen for cooking those delicious Italian meals and cities like Florence and Siena around the corner. No cell phone or internet access for a week means I have some catching up to do. Will post some holiday pics soon...
