Mamie Gâteaux

I will be spending three - no doubt - lovely days in Paris next week, can hardly wait... After the first obligatory stop at Ladurée for some first-class macarons in rainbow colours, I'm off to explore the city. 

My hotel is located in the lovely Saint-Germain area and one of my favourite lunch spots there is Mamie Gâteaux. Soup, salads, sweet and tasty homemade tarts in a cozy décor. Next to the salon de thé is a little brocante shop where they sell vintage tableware, linnen and small furniture. Sit at one of the tables on their streetside terras and watch the world go by while you enjoy some delicious food. Bon appétit!
