Label love: Won Hundred

My love for Scandinavian clothes is no secret. Danish brand Won Hundred designs clothes that seem to be really simple, but always have a rock-'n-roll-edge. The brand was founded by Nikolaj Nielsen some ten years ago and is still going strong. In search of refined and clean lines, the brand loves an understated design - the current collection for SS '14  features classic feminine styles and sporty elements. The prints are kept to a minimum and the silhouettes are fresh and clean. Personality is key, the person wearing the clothes should shine through. Just how I like it...

Birds of paradise

The weekend is fast approaching... Looking for a nice way to spend your Saturday? Why not visit Antwerp and go see the new exhibition at the fashion museum aka MoMu? I had the pleasure to preview 'Birds of Paradise' last Thursday and really loved it. Feathers, fluff and plumes - the haute couture on display showcases them all. From Marlene Dietrich's unique coat made from swans down to soft Chanel dresses and an intricate Dior dress with rooster feathers. Our guide knew the ins and outs of every design - who knew the art of 'plumissage' makes ordinary chicken feathers look like something from another world?

Time left? The Nationalestraat, where the museum is located, is lined with some really nice shops. Visit bookstore Copyright, next to the museum, or wander down the street and pop in Garderobe Nationale, Access, Dries Van Noten and Filippa K.

Weekend wanderlust

Here's some inspiration for the weekend: a beautiful campaign starring Erin - sexy tomboy roaming the streets in Malta - these abstract colour clouds by Kim Keever and The Shape of The Season - an online shopping guide combining the best clothes e-shops have to offer. Weekend dilemmas: thinking about letting my hair grow into a blunt bob, just like Jessie. And what about white nailpolish? Yay or nay? Have a nice weekend!

Blog love: This chick's got style

This blog has slowly taken it's place among my daily reads - time for an introduction. Yara has the perfect hair (I want those long blonde locks too), a great sense of style and is as crazy about her manicure as I am. It's fun to read about her adventures in LA and her blogging tips are really inspiring. And how about her ear piercings? Love!

How about a touch of pink to welcome Spring? My wardrobe consists solely of black, grey and blue - but I'm drawn to the pink sweater on the right. Perhaps just what I need to brighten my day...

What I loved... in February

February went by in the blink of an eye. On the first, I went to ParisA perfect sunny winter day - shopping, walking around town and enjoying the scenery. Had too much coffee (new favourite: a latte with honey). Received my perfect diamond ring from Diamanti per Tutti. Went to a yoga lesson - just once, exercise just isn't my thing. Had my hair cut supershort. Went to the seaside for some fresh air and a long walk. Guilty pleasure of the month: the Voice UK - dope.

The perfect perfecto

The perfect leather jacket has been lingering on my wishlist for years now. The right fit without a belt, a collar in the right style and preferably without a hefty price tag. This faux-leather perfecto from Zara ticked all the boxes. This season I'll style it with skinny jeans, a warm knit and big scarf. In summer I'll wear it with a mid-length skirt or a button-down shirt. This jacket goes with everything... my new favourite piece of garment. What's yours?
